After two year’s of hosting Annual General Meetings online due to the COVID-19 pandemic, ANZ’s board and management were again able to meet with shareholders in person in Adelaide this week.
The AGM is an opportunity for ANZ’s investors to meet the board and management as well as ask questions about the company’s financial performance, it’s strategy and priorities.
Prior to the pandemic ANZ would host its AGM in a different city each year. The last in person event with investors was held in Brisbane in 2019.
This year’s meeting at the Adelaide Convention Centre was also a significant logistical effort for the bank, with months of planning and work going in to ensure the day runs smoothly.
