ANZ reaffirms commitment to Samoa and Pacific

ANZ Regional Executive Pacific, Sarah Stubbings, has reaffirmed her commitment to Samoa and the Pacific region on her first visit to Apia.

Following meetings with the Central Bank of Samoa Governor, Australian High Commissioner, customers, staff and community partners, Ms Stubbings says she is optimistic about the country’s future.

“There was a sense of cautious optimism as the country reopens its borders and we look forward to being a part of the recovery,” Ms Stubbings said.

“ANZ has been in Samoa for more than 30 years and it is one of our core Pacific markets.

“It was touching to see the community impact that ANZ has had in Samoa and to see us supporting and growing with our customers and our people.

“Apia was buzzing and the view from Mount Vaea was breathtaking, so I can’t wait to return and see more of this incredible country,” Ms Stubbings said.
